Lemon contains a number of other essential vitamins and minerals which is needed by the body like calcium, potassium (138 mg/100g), Folate, Vitamin B and many more. An average size lemon fruit can give you about 3 tablespoon of pure lemon juice. To get more juice out from a lemon fruit, leave it out at room temperature or heat it in a microwave for just a little while to make squeezing out the juice easier.

Why is lemon good for weight loss? First is because of its low calorie, and second because it is said to be able to block away the accumulation of fat from the food that we consume considerably. So instead of ordering any calorie-loaded drinks for lunch or dinner, why don’t you opt for a nice ice cold less sugar lemonade instead?

Lemon for great complexion? Besides that lemon is a great complexion toner to radiate your skin since it has a lot of Vitamin C. take a tablespoon of pure lemon juice and mix it with lukewarm water and wash your face with it once in the morning and once at night. It will leave your skin feeling refresh and clean.

Lighter hair with lemon extract? This is a proven natural method of lightening your hair. All you got to do is dampen your hair with lemon juice and sit out in the morning sun for an hour (when it is not too hot). Light lemon juice (mix with a cup of warm water) is said to be a great conditioner for the hair but be careful if you have sensitive scalp!
