Being flexible is being able to move a full range of motion of a particular joint of your body, which is also, largely depend on the individual’s body capability, the body temp and muscle mass as compare to body fat. Our sedentary lifestyle may be the main factor to the loss of flexibility of an individual. Flexibility can be improved from time to time through stretching exercises and continuous practice.
Have you ever wondered why your body experienced sores and minor pains after an exercise routine? This matter is closely related to the fact that no warming ups such as stretching and flexibility exercises were not done right before you start your main exercising routines or before you start playing sports. This is especially evident when you went through a rigorous activities and sports. It is advisable that you should not forget to warm up, do a few stretches before you start exercising. It will might as well improve your flexibility and avoid you from experience any post-exercise pains.

It is best that you include a complete and organized flexibility and stretching routine within those 10 minutes, starting from the head to the feet. Remember when we used to do a lot of it during PE period? It starts from tilting the head to the left and right, then moving your hands, waist, and thighs to pointing your feet up and down to loosen up the tightened muscles.
Why is it important? Why do you need flexibility training? Flexibility and stretching is important to ensure that your body is ready for the next activities. Your muscles will loose up a bit and be able to support your body, making it stronger and more flexible for a more challenging activity. Other than that, such warming ups can keep injuries at bay while you’re doing exercises, and 10 minutes is all that it takes.
