Health and Fitness - Green Tea & Weight Loss


Green tea is most of the time famous for its bitterness and distinctive taste. This is two of it’s characteristic that is prominent and often pops in people’s head when they heard of green tea. There’s more to learn about green tea than just the taste and the authentic nature it possessed.

Besides researches results saying that green tea is also able to reduce the growth of cancer cells (according to study at the University of Purdue), there is another great benefit of green tea that I’m sure many women who have loved knowing it…

This is of personal experience. After much reading on green tea I’ve come across many claims that say drinking green tea can help you to loose weight. So I tried, and it does help! How’s that possible you ask?

  • Green Tea has zero calorie, if you don’t add sugar to it. By the way, it won’t taste nice if you do add sugar to it.
  • It increase your metabolism and fat burning mechanism. Combine it with regular exercise, you will see wondrous results!

Drink at least 3-4 cups a day would do, but make sure you drink it everyday. You don’t have to use a different teabags for each drink, just refill your cup with same teabag with hot water and wait a while before drinking it. Remember to have the water real hot too.

Exercise regularly. Alternate your exercise activities with multiple type of exercise. You can do a 10 minutes daily or half an hour to 40 minutes every 2 to 3 days. It’s all up to you. Just remember to do it regularly.

You’ll see the obvious results within 2 weeks.

    I have been trying out all types of green tea lately looking for one that I like as I am not a black tea drinker and know the benefits of drinking green tea. I am still persevering.
