How to Overcome Low Motivation to Exercise

The number one problem that many of us may face when it comes to the issue of exercising for better fitness and health is ‘not having enough motivation’. The fat you wanted to shed about a year ago is still there, you’re not as fit as you used to be, and your skins starts giving that unhealthy signs making you look older than you really are. You know you have no other choice than to start exercising and start eating properly and healthily to get back on track.

Still, you’re not motivated enough to start embarking on that exercise program you’ve schedule up in your mind…

By right, there’s not much to think about since there are solution to this problem that most of us may face everyday. Freewill is something much easier said than done though, it is still achievable.

You need these weight loss motivation tips!

.

Solution #1: Broaden your outlook on the issue

Consider this - a much more lean, trimmer, fit and gorgeous looking you in the long term, when you are actually struggling with yourself inside your mind finding the real reason why you should start exercising. Consider this too - if you think you have forever, you’re wrong! As we age, our metabolism will start to decrease, your body will start to jiggle and sag and fat is a lot harder to shed. Therefore, all you have to do is to start young. Perhaps now and you probably won’t be able to see all this if you don’t start looking into the bigger picture.

Solution #2: Imagine yourself in the best physical state and image

Nope, there’s definitely nothing wrong with you imagining yourself beautiful, thin with that knock-out figure, because what it supposed to do is to motivate you to work harder on your exercising regime. You want those nice clothes, fitting into M and S sizes. What’s worse is that you even bought it out of following the flow. But no problem, keep them because you’ll find way to fit into it someday, soon.

Solution #3: Use your fear well

Try this trick if you still can’t get it going. Imagine yourself real fat and obviously, very unattractive. Ask yourself, do you want that to happen to you? Honestly, you can even get scared when you came across someone who are clearly overweight, scared of the fact that it could happen to you too. So use that fear, and use it well enough to motivate you to get up on your feet and spend at least 30 minutes working out a day.

Solution #4: Get a role model

Think Angelina Jolie, think Cameron Diaz. You wanted that kind of body, so there’s no harm on posting some of their picture in great shape where it’s easily seen. Let it burn your inner desire to look hot, beautiful, feel healthy and get your start working out on that bicycle. And no, I’m not talking about those runaway skinny models. That’s going to overboard, you still need your assets.

Solution #5: Start being optimistic and realistic!

Come on, you can’t expect to be all thin and good looking after just a few times of workout training. The same thing goes if you’re expecting to loose 5 kilos in just three days. It takes a lot more of perseverance, patience and consistency to achieve it. Nevertheless, it’ll be worth. Working out is not only to make you look good, lean, sexy and all. It was supposed to make you healthier too. So, remember to aim for both, avoid training injuries and start a slow to moderate pace. You should start learning to enjoy your workouts.

Solution #6: Start working out with other enthusiastic mates

So the pal next to you is struggling to lose weight too? Why don’t you just work together, support each other and train together. It will be merrier, more interesting and energizing that way. At least, having a company to workout with, with the same goal in mind can keep the boredom at bay when you’re out exercising. Sometimes, the enthusiasm of someone else can easily raise yours. You may not even notice how time flies by so quickly!

But remember, you should exercise not only to get a great figure but for better health as well~ so, don’t push too hard when you think your body can’t take it anymore. Go on a gradual and moderate pace. As you build up your stamina and muscles, you can perhaps embark on a more challenging routine. Hope these exercise motivation tips will help you in your weight loss program!
