Jolie and Madonna didn’t actually lied when she said that she got that drop-dead gorgeous figure through Pilates training three up to five times a week, because Pilates training really works in giving you a better figure and tone your body up at the same time. Of course, there’s always the physical fitness trainer which can also consult these celebrities what to eat and when to exercise. Obviously that is one thing that most of us couldn’t afford to do so, but we can afford to get the extra knowledge on good food and how you should arrange your eating plan, as well as a few good DVDs on Pilates so that you can start on your ‘lose weight and look good’ program.

Celebrities have been giving this particular type of fitness exercise quite a rise in terms of popularity. According to the American Association of Retired Persons, baby boomers living in this hectic world may find stretching and strengthening especially helpful to their core muscles.

There are a number of reasons why you should give Pilates a try:-

Pilates, if being practiced systematically and most important, correctly, can give you a better posture and alignment. It promotes to escalate a person’s sense of balance with greater body awareness. In other words, it makes you feel good about yourself, and when you feel good about yourself, you can build up your personal confidence.

Pilates too gives your body more flexibility with much leaner and longer muscles. Since the exercise includes a long of gradual stretching and strengthening of muscles, and after the long-run it’s able to shape and toned your body as well as improving your range of movement.

If properly practiced, Pilates are able to relief your body from back pain and ache. Basically, all kinds of fitness trainings and exercises are able to reduce an individual’s stress and mental tension. And so does Pilates.

Pilates uses a few sets of strong, repetitious but slow-paced movements to give you that healthy body and gorgeous figure. However, that’s not the reason to stop just at that. If you’re like more than 150 pounds with flabby tummy, you can’t expect to see satisfying result with Pilates alone, and thus giving you no right to say it’s no good. Why is it so? This is because Pilates is the kind of workout that uses a lot of muscles, therefore if there’s only fat on you there’s no point practicing it.

What you can do is do more cardio exercises in the beginning, like 3 4 times a week for 2 weeks and on the second week you should vary your exercise with some weight lifting to built the remaining extra fat into muscles that’ll burn your calories and increase your metabolism. After you’ve lost some of those grams and centimeters, you can probably integrate Pilates into your schedule. A healthy eating plan and heart-pumping activities combined with Pilates can help achieve a total body workout.
